Education

We are educators at heart. For decades, our team has led grassroots education across rural, semi-urban, and urban communities, sustaining cross-subsidized initiatives that bring lifelong learning to underserved groups. Today, our campaign places arithmetic at its core. Along the way, we have had the privilege of partnering with governments at all levels, philanthropists, investors, and service providers. Our work has also been recognized through publications in leading American journals and strengthened by collaborations with global research institutions across APAC and EMEA.

Case Stories and Key Insights

Speed, often mistaken for an innate trait, is in fact trainable. In today’s competitive and resource-constrained world, speed is not only a personal advantage but also a powerful driver of both individual progress and collective development. While some may appear naturally faster, research shows that with the right training and environment, speed can be cultivated by anyone. Most importantly, speed is more than a personal asset, it can be a great social equalizer. For millions who rely on public education systems, developing speed can substitute for privilege, helping students unlock opportunities that might otherwise remain out of reach. In classrooms, students who learn to work faster complete tasks more confidently, perform better in exams, and gain access to more competitive pathways ultimately becoming more employable and future-ready. This is especially critical in underserved communities, where opportunities to “catch up” are limited. By training for speed, we give students a way to stay in step with opportunity rather than lag behind it. Imagine if our public education systems treated speed as a developmental goal: classrooms would become spaces of energy, momentum, and empowerment. With rapid feedback loops, smart practice, and focused training, every learner, regardless of background, could accelerate toward success. When nurtured intentionally, numeric speed does more than improve performance; it uplifts communities. It transforms learning into a faster, fairer, and more inclusive pathway helping every student, not just the privileged, keep pace with the future.

The Challenge

While speed can empower students, systemic inequities often prevent many from accessing the training and support they need. In many developing countries, a persistent challenge remains: while higher education and urban institutions often receive the majority of resources, rural schools where learning foundations are crucial lack sufficient classrooms and learning materials. Millions of children are waiting for the chance to fully realize their potential, held back not by ability, but by circumstance. By thoughtfully directing investment toward primary and rural education, we can create a more equitable system where every child, regardless of location, has the opportunity to grow, learn, and thrive.

Strategies by Leading Players to Bridge Education Gaps

One of the most effective ways to promote equity in education is to ensure that all students are held to the same standards and given access to the same opportunities. A striking example comes from a pilot program at a renowned Bengaluru school, which houses both a for-profit and a subsidized wing. Students in the subsidized wing demonstrated remarkable improvement—not only through our targeted upskilling program, but also through broader initiatives designed to boost engagement and participation. Remarkably, they competed not just with privileged students from across the city, but outperformed many others we have taught, underscoring the transformative power of equitable access to high-quality learning experiences.

Leveraging a Platform Mindset to Unlock Transformation

Measurable, scalable platforms—ours and those of other innovators—are essential for driving meaningful change in education at scale. By integrating real-time data tracking with evidence-based interventions, these platforms empower educators to monitor progress, pinpoint gaps, and implement solutions with precision. Their scalability ensures that effective strategies can reach thousands, even millions, of learners, delivering consistent impact across diverse schools, regions, and communities.
