Emy Ottaplackal Thomas: Emy Ottaplackal Thomas is the founder of MyLQ, a Bengaluru-origin venture,  a partner and consultant based in Kozhikode and upcoming Mumbai office. She leads the sustainability wing with work spanning across governments and multinational corporations across APAC, EMEA and Americas. She also drives impact in industries including, but not limited to, agriculture, education and healthcare. Emy has experience across practice areas including organizational performance measurement complementing her focus on the above. Prior to joining MyLQ full-time in 2024, Emy gained experience with global consulting firms, research institutions, and banks, most notably Accenture Strategy. She holds an MBA from IIM Kozhikode and B.Sc. (H) in Mathematics from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi.

Dr. Thomas Joseph

Dr. Thomas Joseph is a strategy advisor for multinational corporations and governments and has been an integral member of MyLQ’s board. While his primary role is with the Government of India and IIT-IIM ecosystem, he has had the privilege of collaborating with governments, multinational corporations and research institutions across APAC, EMEA and North America not just along with us but also in his career of 30+ years. His areas of research, teaching and consulting include strategy formulation, strategy execution, performance management, and international business strategy. Prior to his current role, Dr. Thomas was a full time practitioner heading the global strategy of UAE Exchange, Abu Dhabi till 2012 and informally till 2019. Prior to that he had worked with IPCL, Apollo Tyres Ltd and Binani Zinc Ltd for about 12 years. An example of his corporate initiative include “RACE 2011” which won the first “Positive Business Award” in 2014 from Michigan University’s Ross School of Business. He is a member of a number of management associations and has advised the government at all levels. An example of his governmental initiative includes serving as a member, Kerala State Innovation Council from 2013-2016 where he had the privilege of chairing all district committees. He captained IPCL in the PSCB National Badminton Championship in Goa, 2000. In terms of educational background, he is an electrical engineer from TKM and holds a PhD from IIM Bangalore. Passionate about teaching and consulting in strategy and policy. Brings more than 35 years of experience across industry, politics, sports and academics. That said, his work remains largely undocumented on our venture.

Julie Pulikkottil

Julie Pulikkottil brings a distinguished 25-year career defined by the mastery of biology education, K-12 pedagogy, and grassroots social entrepreneurship. Her perspective is deeply rooted in her work in Udaipur, the home of LQ, where she pioneered community-focused educational initiatives and established a resilient grassroots movement nearly 15 years ago—a mission she continues to lead today. As an advisor, Julie provides essential guidance to ensure our pedagogical tools remain practical, accessible, and grounded in real-world learning environments. Her role is vital in keeping MyLQ’s diagnostic efforts connected to the actual needs of students and teachers. By drawing on her quarter-century of quiet service and the grassroots movements established at LQ in Udaipur, Julie helps bridge the gap between academic tradition and meaningful local change. She is to be based out of Kozhikode office. That said, her work remains largely undocumented on our venture. 

Renjith Joshua

Renjith Joshua is a non-consulting partner at MyLQ, based in Thiruvanathapuram / Hyderabad, the face of a campaign led by Emy that places arithmetic at its core. A B.Tech. graduate from the College of Engineering, Trivandrum, Renjith brings over a decade of expertise in aptitude training. A serial CAT 100-percentiler, he has an outstanding record of results – between 2014 and 2021, his percentiles were 99.85, 100, 100, 100, 100, 100, 99.99. 99.99, 99.97 and 99.97. That said, his work remains largely undocumented on our venture.
