As much as we advise institutions, we also empower students to upskill at their own pace and pursue learning with confidence. Arithmetic remains at the core of our work, however, we regularly help our students build capabilities in a variety of fields. We also offer pro bono guidance to students in choosing their academic and career paths. We collaborate with educational institutions across APAC, EMEA and Americas to deliver initiatives to build institutions and share insights through publications and talks.
Case Stories and Key Insights
Teaching students with diverse learning abilities is a challenge that educators routinely encounter, requiring patience, adaptability, and empathy. Yet, this story is not about our methods of teaching—it is about the remarkable creativity and self-motivation of the students themselves. Over time, we have witnessed how they approach their subjects with curiosity and courage, unafraid to explore ideas beyond the boundaries of conventional learning. Many have cultivated their own paths of understanding, discovering unique ways to connect concepts, express insights, and apply knowledge creatively. What stands out most is not just their academic progress, but their ability to translate learning into meaningful pursuits. Their journeys remind us that education is not solely about instruction but about unlocking the potential that already exists within each learner. It is this spirit of discovery and creativity that continues to inspire our work and reaffirms our belief in the transformative power of learning. Supporting such self-motivated learners requires not only dedicated educators but also innovative educational ventures that provide the tools, platforms, and opportunities to nurture curiosity and creativity.
Learnings and Challenges
Even today, beyond the immediate circle of students, guardians, and educators, many still underestimate the true potential of differently-abled learners and the remarkable dedication they bring to upskilling themselves. All too often, attention remains narrowly focused on grades or conventional measures of success, while qualities like persistence, curiosity, creativity, and self-driven growth are overlooked. Yet, these students consistently demonstrate a profound commitment to learning, actively seeking knowledge, embracing challenges, and discovering innovative ways to overcome obstacles. Their journeys reveal that real progress in education is not defined solely by standardized metrics but by the recognition, encouragement, and nurturing of each learner’s innate potential. By valuing their efforts, celebrating their achievements, and providing the support they need, we can help these students transform obstacles into opportunities, cultivating skills, confidence and resilience that will serve them far beyond the classroom.
Approach and Way Forward | A Blueprint for the Future
Most ed-tech ventures for these students are not those led by large players, where substantial budgets are often directed toward sales and marketing. Instead, true impact often comes from smaller innovators who, despite limited resources, operate in unconventional spaces and have a deep understanding of student needs. One example is an educational pioneer who mentored us—his venture brings art education to students across diverse socio-economic backgrounds. It is initiatives like these that create lasting change in communities, yet they remain critically underfunded. The real challenge lies in ensuring that such ventures receive sustained support and attention to maximize their long-term impact. In addition to delivering instruction in arithmetic and related subjects, we are deeply engaged in developing and influencing policies that drive systemic improvements in education. Connect with us to explore actionable strategies and fresh perspectives for empowering the education ecosystem.
